Useful measurement without farm-trip surveillance.
PickPatch uses limited site measurement to understand whether visitors can find farms and use the directory. Location access is requested only after you choose to use it.
Analytics
What PickPatch measures.
When analytics is configured, PickPatch uses Google Analytics 4 for page views and a small allowlist of product events such as Finder searches, crop filters, farm-result clicks, directions clicks and official-website clicks.
PickPatch does not intentionally send visitor latitude or longitude as analytics event parameters.
Use my location
How nearby search works.
The Finder asks the browser for location only after you press Use my location. Before the search is sent, coordinates are rounded for approximate nearby matching. PickPatch does not use browser location to create a farm fact or owner record.
As with ordinary web requests, the hosting platform and service providers may process request metadata needed to operate and secure the site.
Corrections
Information you submit.
A correction report stores the farm, issue category and text you submit so it can be reviewed. Reports do not automatically overwrite source-backed farm facts.
Please do not include private personal information in a correction report.
